I've been wanting to do this for a while. I feel kinda silly- there are a million and one homeschool blogs out there already. But I figured I'd give it a go!
I chose the name Foxx Denn Family School for our homeschool because it is a play on our last name. It isn't Foxx, but it means "fox". And our last name ends in double letters, so I kept it going with the double X and double N for Foxx Denn. I like patterns and uniformity- I'm kind of a dork like that. Add to that that I go by Jenn (double N), and I just HAD to spell it that way. :)
I almost didn't choose Foxx because in scripture foxes aren't portrayed in a positive light. (Song of Solomon 2:15) But in the end, I decided that a play on our last name was ok. It IS our name, afterall. ;)
So, Lord willing, I'll be posting now and then about our adventures. I have a few files to share, too, and a small project the Lord has put on my heart for teens.
